Seniors take a cold trip to Gatlinburg

You can’t tell by the photo of the group freezing, but they had a great time.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, November 13 and 14, 2018 a small group of Seniors braved the elements in Gatlinburg.

Even though the group was small, they all say they had a wonderful time in spite of the cold, rainy weather.

“We have a great time when we get together, and this time was no exception,” says Louise Womack. “But, next time, I hope it is warmer and dryer!”

The group had a good time shopping and, of course, eating.

Thanks to Charles Mitchell for driving and van and taking the photo.

Those attending (left to right) included Doyal Bean, Lucky Bynum, Helene Taylor, Linda White, Louise Womack, Helen and Wayne Smith, Shirley and Charles Mitchell, and Shirley Mitchell’s cousin, Joy Laub.

Meagan Higgins seems to like the taste of the orange sherbet.

Besides ice cream we had brownies, cookies, and fried apple pies. Yum Yum!
